We are delighted to announce that this project recently received planning permission at appeal.
This is a site with arguably the most stunning, far reaching natural views over greenbelt in Greater London. Built into the hillside, the completed development will barely be visible from the main road, however dropping down the hill reveals a terrace of two storey houses, comprising four bed houses (x8) and a single storey three bed house. Once again, in order not to mar the view, the car parking (two spaces per house) is hidden from view beneath a landscaped earth berm.

The ‘building as landscape’ theme continues with the grass bank beneath the houses literally rising up and over the houses, enveloping the walls and roof with a green cloak of wildflower meadow grass. To make the most of the stunning views, the traditional house plan has been inverted, with living accommodation at upper ground floor level and bedrooms and ancillary accommodation on the level below. We hope to start work on this project in 2014 with the homes available to purchase Spring 2015.
